Eyrie — click-fraud protection for ad portfolios
Eyrie detects and blocks invalid and fraudulent ad clicks — bots,
click farms, competitor clicks, and agentic browsers — across every
brand, site, and campaign an advertiser or agency manages, from one
console.
How Eyrie uses the Google Ads API
Advertisers connect their Google Ads accounts to Eyrie via OAuth.
With the customer's authorization, Eyrie uses the Google Ads API to:
-
Read campaign, ad group, keyword, and search-term
performance and cost reports (GoogleAdsService.SearchStream).
Eyrie uses this cost data to calculate the ad spend protected by
blocking invalid clicks and to show honest, auditable savings
reporting (blocked clicks × the keyword's real cost-per-click).
-
Manage account-level IP exclusions to prevent
clicks from IP addresses Eyrie has scored as fraudulent, keeping
invalid traffic out of the customer's campaigns.
-
Manage campaign negative keywords and network / targeting
settings (campaign-hygiene features) to reduce low-quality
and wasteful clicks, always with the customer's explicit action.
Eyrie is a reporting-and-management tool operated on behalf of the
advertisers who own the connected accounts. It does not resell API
access, and every account is scoped to the customer who authorized it.
How it works
A lightweight first-party tracker (≤4 KB) on the customer's site
sends click events to Eyrie. Eyrie scores each visitor in real time
using detection rules and IP intelligence, assigns a verdict
(clean / suspicious / blocked / agent), and pushes exclusions to the
connected ad networks — Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta,
LinkedIn, and TikTok — within about 60 seconds.
